According to an indisputable source - Page Six in the NY Post - Marc Jacobs loudly bitches about John Galliano to his personal trainer every time he's in the gym. "Marc and his trainer always talk very loudly - it's very annoying. All he does is complain about Galliano - even after [Galliano's best friend and right hand man] Stephen Armstrong died in April. It was disgusting. He's so jealous of John," whispers Page Six's conveniently placed source.
To which we say, oh please. Judging by Jacobs' increasingly freakish overbuilt body, morphing his physique from one that used to bring back memories of the geeks in Hebrew school this half of LiS used to fancy to scary muscle Mary, we can't imagine he wastes any breath talking about another designer when there are benches to be pressed.
Best of all is Page Six's concluding sentence on the story: "We didn't call Jacobs for comment" - you amaze us - "because last time we did, his rep leaked the story to WWD." Journalism, my friends. Journalism at it's damned finest.
