Marc Diakiese will return to action at UFC Copenhagen on 28 September to take on Lando Vannata.
Diakiese revived his UFC prospects at UFC London in March, ending a three-fight losing streak with an impressive unanimous decision victory over Joseph Duffy.
The lightweight will now have the opportunity to extend his MMA record to 14-3 when the UFC visits Denmark for the first time next month.
Diakiese, born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and raised in Doncaster, broke down in tears after impressing a home crowd earlier this year by dominating Duffy, who has a career victory over Conor McGregor to his name.
‘Bonecrusher’ announced in May he had signed a new multi-fight deal, his third with the promotion since joining in 2016 after championship success with BAMMA.
Like his opponent, Vannata also comes into this fight having recently ended a winless streak.
The 26-year-old American secured a first round submission victory over Marcos Mariano on the UFC 234 undercard in February, having registered two draws and two losses in his previous four fights.
Diakiese and Vannata join a card set to be headlined by Jack Hermansson and Jared Cannonier next month.
