Marc Collin from Nouvelle Vague on the band's anniversary tour and new compilations

Nouvelle Vague is not just a French cinema movement of the 20th century, it's also a French band who have been covering indie punk goth tracks from the 1970s and 1980s, Bossa Nova style. Fifteen years ago, they first gained international success with chilled-out versions of "Love Will Tear Us Apart", "Guns of Brixton" and many more.

The band are back this year with a mammoth tour and two new compilations - "Rareties" and "Curiosities" - which feature covers of The Smiths, Devo and even U2. Founding member Marc Collin joined us on the show to discuss their lasting success as well as how they chose the songs to cover.

We also check out new releases by Ciara, Mac Demarco and Jamila Woods.
