Eligibility

Ranked is a weekend mode. It runs from Saturday until the weekly reset on Tuesday, with each weekend featuring a different planet-side zone (doesn’t include Cryo Archive). To play Ranked, you must be at least Runner level 25.

There are two Ranked queues: Low Stakes and High Stakes. Each has separate matchmaking pools and gear requirements. You must bring a loadout that meets or exceeds the Credit value requirements.

Here are the Ranked queues and their requirements:

  • Low Stakes (Bronze and above): 3,000 Credits
  • High Stakes (Platinum and above): 10,000 Credits

Scoring

To progress through the ranks and earn Ranked Points (RP), you must meet the target score by exfiltrating high-value loot found during the run—your original loadout doesn’t contribute to it. If you and your crew fail to meet the target after exfiltration, you will not receive RP. At the same time, failing to extract results in a rank loss based on the Holotag’s value.

Holotags

Holotags are mandatory passes to enter Ranked that you can purchase in the Armory using Credits. There’s a Holotag tier for every rank, and you can buy the Holotag up to your current rank. Most importantly, every Runner must always carry a Holotag to contribute to the score.

Holotag sets the score target based on rarity. On top of that, stealing Holotags from other Runners contributes to the score and provides the capacity to exceed your score target, allowing you to overperform and gain more RP. Tag Chips that drop from UESC enemies also allow you to go beyond the score target.

Here are all the Holotags and how they contribute to the score:

Tier Cost Score target Loss penalty Overperformance capacity
Bronze 500 3,000 600 600
Silver 750 5,000 2,000 1,000
Gold 1,000 7,000 4,200 1,500
Platinum 1,500 10,000 8,000 2,250
Diamond 2,000 15,000 15,000 3,250
Pinnacle 3,500 20,000 20,000 5,000
