More than 400,000 people claiming disability benefits in Wales will receive a £150 boost to help ease the cost of living crisis from next month. Our map shows how many people will benefit in your area.
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has confirmed anyone receiving one of nine disability benefits will receive the £150 payment from June 20. This is a separate payment to the £301 cost of living sum which was paid to eight million households. Those payments were due to be completed by May 17.
The extra payment of £150 will go to more than six million people in the UK who are in receipt of disability benefits, over a two-week period starting from June 20. In Wales, a total of £65million is being shared among 433,300 people and Cardiff has the highest number of people eligible for the payout (39,100), with £5.9million going to claimants in the city.

Relative to population size, people in Neath Port Talbot are the most likely to benefit in Wales, with nearly one in five residents of the county borough (19%) set to receive £150. You can see how many people will receive the benefit in your area with this interactive map:
The DWP said anyone entitled to the payment will not need to apply and should receive the money automatically. People could be eligible for the £150 payment if they were paid one of the following benefits on April 1, or if they are subsequently paid for that date:
Attendance Allowance
Constant Attendance Allowance
Disability Living Allowance for adults
Disability Living Allowance for children
Personal Independence Payment
Adult Disability Payment (in Scotland)
Child Disability Payment (in Scotland)
Armed Forces Independence Payment
War Pension Mobility Supplement
For those who were awaiting confirmation of their entitlement to disability benefits on April 1, or who are waiting to be assessed for eligibility to receive disability benefits, the process may take longer, but payments will still be automatic. And in tandem with the disability payment due in the summer, households could be eligible for a second cost of living payment of £300 if they are in receipt of the benefits including Universal Credit, Pension Credit, and older benefits such as Jobseekers Allowance and Income Support.
Pensioners are then set to benefit from £300 during the winter, and then a third cost of living payment of £299 will be paid in spring next year. That means people on means-tested benefits will receive £900 but some people will receive up to £1,350 in direct payments.
People in the North West will get the biggest share of the cash (13%, or £131.7m), followed by the South East (11%), and then London (10%). You can read more of the latest breaking news here.
