The coronavirus pandemic continues to have a devastating impact on Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, but official statistics reveal some areas appear to be currently less hard hit than others.
These areas are revealed in the publication of seven–day rates, released by the Government, which are expressed per 100,000 of the population.
They are calculated by dividing the seven day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.
Here we identify the postcode areas in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire with the lowest seven–day rolling rate of new cases up to the latest figures on November 9.
Figures go from zero to 400+ cases per 100,000 head of population. We have listed the 25 areas in the city and county with a rate of under 200 - below the England average.
Mansfield is the only local authority area to have no places with fewer than 200 cases per 100,000 people, while Rushcliffe has 10 areas under this bracket.
