It is estimated that over 6,300 people in Leeds currently have Covid-19, according to an interactive map by ZOE.
This is more than double compared to the figures we reported last month.
It comes after a further 389 people in Leeds tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
The study, run in collaboration with researchers from King's College London, estimates that there are 6,399 "active cases" in Leeds, compared to 2,557 on December 18.
This is the highest number of "active cases" in the whole region.
There are currently 38,828 people in Yorkshire believed to be infected, according to data published on 5am on January 15.
The figures are based on data from from December 28 to January 11.
The lowest figures was recorded in Scarborough. North Yorkshire in particular has seen a rise in estimated cases compared to a few weeks ago.
