Manuka Doctor Age Defying Eye Cream tackles wrinkles and sensitive skin - review

Honey is something you would normally pop on a piece of toast but Manuka Doctor expanded its lovely little pots of gold into a very popular skin care range.

Its formulations are made with the same genuine, sustainable and certified manuka honey that is found in their edible honey range.

As well as being all natural, great for immunity and antibacterial, manuka honey also has super high moisturising properties.

This makes it ideal for an eye cream as the skin around your eye area does tend to be much thinner and more sensitive than that on the rest of your face and body.

Manuka Doctor has also included purified bee venom in this product - which sounds a bit eek!

But apparently this helps in reducing the look of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as boosting collagen and increasing natural skin cell regeneration - all without the sting.

It retails at at very purse friendly £15 but there is a special on now for just £4.50

Our REAL BEAUTY Tester, Hannah from London, was sent Manuka Doctor’s Age Defying Eye Cream to test and review.

After two weeks’ usage she told us:

“This cream feels wonderful on, not too heavy and didn't cause any issues for my sensitive eyes.

"It has minimised my dark circles and moisturised the under eye area well. It is smooth and just the right consistency for my delicate under eye skin. It is not heavily perfumed but has a clean scent

"People even commented that I looked bright eyed.”

Overall she rated the product 5/5 and told us:

“It is a great product on my very sensitive skin and I have noticed a difference. I will continue to use it. It is better than other eye creams I have tried and it is a reasonable price.”
