Manuel Pellegrini dropped a big hint that midfielder Jack Wilshere could start for West Ham's final Premier League game of the season away at Watford on Sunday.
Wilshere hasn't started a first team game for the Hammers since September 2018 after suffering two separate ankle injuries, one which required surgery, and has been eased back into action after a prolonged period of rest and a 60-minute outing for the U23s last month.
The former Arsenal star has been on the bench for the past three games, he was an unused substitute against Spurs but got 22 minutes - and an assist - against Southampton last time out.
Pellegrini has been very careful with Wilshere and his injury record which has wrecked not only his season so far but his career as whole. In 2018/19, Wilshere has made just seven appearances.

The Hammers boss though admitted that the 27-year-old could be in line for a very rare start at Vicarage Road.
Speaking ahead of the game at his pre-match press conference, Pellegrini said: "Jack is ready to start. He will be involved in the squad list.
