Manuel Akanji makes Man City Premier League title admission amid Arsenal battle

Manchester City defender Manuel Akanji has claimed that his side need to win all ten of their remaining Premier League matches if they are to win the title over Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta's men currently sit eight points clear at the top of the table, although they have played one more league match than City. The two sides will also play each other at the Etihad Stadium later this month and Akanji has now admitted that anything less than a perfect record for the reigning champions will likely mean the Gunners clinch the title this term.

Speaking after City defeated Liverpool 4-1 on Saturday, the Swiss international said: "There are still a lot of games to go but we probably have to win all the games, and that is what we aim for, and we hope we can do that. It’s coming towards the end of the season.
