- Three people who were part of the senior team at the Countess of Chester Hospital have been arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter.
- The arrests are linked to an ongoing investigation prompted by the murder convictions of former nurse Lucy Letby.
- Letby is serving 15 whole life orders for murdering seven infants and attempting to murder seven others at the hospital between June 2015 and June 2016.
- The individuals were arrested on Monday, 30 June, and have since been bailed pending further inquiries.
- Cheshire Constabulary said that corporate manslaughter and gross negligence manslaughter probes are continuing.
