A major Mansfield town centre department store site once home to British Home Stores is set to get a new lease of life.
The building, on West Gate, has remained vacant since Philip Green's chain collapsed into administration around five years ago.
Many people in the town have called for it to be brought back into use, with various suggestions including an indoor market put forward in the past.
However, branding for a new shop has appeared at the front of the historic shop as a new company takes on the site.
The shop will be taken on by the Stock Monster store, which already has a site in Front Street, Arnold.
The wholesale company, which specialises in bargain buys, sells a number of different items ranging from children's toys to food, drink and household items.
It is not clear when the store will be officially opening its doors to the public, with the various high street stores remaining closed until April 12 at the earliest.
However, Google searches for the company's Arnold branch show that, once the shop does open, it is likely to have operating hours of 9am until 5pm.
Nottinghamshire Live has approached the company for further information on its Mansfield store.
