In the first phase of e-office implementation, 62 departments had been on-boarded, 988 users enrolled, 45,350 e-Dak sent and 15,144 e-files created, a statement from the chief minister's office.

In the second phase, 74 directorates/societies/agencies are now onboarded on the e-office platform and by the end of this year, all government offices will be onboarded, the statement added.

Biren Singh appreciated the officials for the initiatives and committed service even during the Covid-19 pandemic.

It was through the dedication of officials on their duties that the state had been able to overcome all difficult times, he said, adding that Manipur had achieved a lot and performed well.

Mentioning that good governance lies in the happiness of people, Biren Singh said that his government had always worked for inclusive development.

He also stressed the need to provide internet connectivity to the remotest areas so that all welfare schemes and services could reach each and every targeted group.

The chief minister asked the administrative secretaries to complete all pending works before the year ends and also asked to ensure proper attendance of government employees in their respective offices.
