Manic Street Preachers fans will not be allowed to take any of these items to their Cardiff Castle gig

Manic Street Preachers are returning to Cardiff on Saturday, June 29 for a much-anticipated outdoor show at the castle.

Blackwood's finest will be back at the historic venue for the first time in three years for a gig that's  sandwiched in between shows from both The Killers (Friday, June 28) and Paul Weller (Sunday, June 30).

The concert is to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their number one 1998 album, This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours, which the band will be playing its entirety for the first time ever.

The Manics perform on stage during the Q Awards 2017 (PA)

Doors open at 6pm, with James, Nicky and Sean hitting the stage at 8.45pm.
