Manhunt underway after 19-year-old is stabbed in Cardiff

A 19-year-old was taken to hospital with stab wounds after an early morning incident in Cardiff.

Police say they were called to the Grangetown area of Cardiff following reports of stabbing at Ferry Road at approximately 4.15am on Sunday (12 July).

A spokesman said that a man was taken to hospital with wounds to his legs.

His condition is described as stable.

Police have said that no arrests have yet been made and an investigation is underway.

An large area of the street has been cordoned off and there were reports of a large police presence in the area, near the junction with Avondale Road and Kent Street.

The cordon was still in place on Sunday afternoon as police investigations were carried out at the scene.
