Manhunt launched in connection to 'false imprisonment' incident

Police are appealing for the public's help to find 60-year-old Gordon Maddocks.

Maddocks is wanted for false imprisonment and serious assault offences committed in Bristol earlier this month.

He’s described as white, 5ft 4ins, of medium build, with receding black/greying hair which he is known to wear in a ponytail. He also has a grey pointed goatee beard.

Driver stopped by police after being seen travelling with his sat nav blocking his view out of the windscreen

Maddocks has links with Bristol, Weston-super-Mare and Cornwall.

It is believed that he may be using buses to travel around.

Anyone who recognises Maddocks is asked to not approach him, but to call 999 immediately and give the call handler the reference number 5219083017.

Avon and Somerset police are also appealing for information from anyone who has seen Maddocks since April 16 this year, or any other information which could help locate him.

In this occasion the public is asked to call 101 and provide the same reference number - 5219083017.
