Manhunt launched for driver who crashed car in Falkirk and fled scene

Police in Falkirk are on the hunt for the driver of a car that crashed into a wall.

Emergency services were called to Bo'ness Road, in the Polmont area, shortly before 10pm on Saturday October, 16, after reports a smash.

Officers arrived to discover the driver had fled the scene.

An investigation has started and they're now asking anyone who witnessed the collision to get in touch.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 9.50pm on Saturday, 16 October, officers were called to the Bo’Ness Road area of Polmont following a report of a car crashing into a wall.

"Searches were carried out to trace the occupants at the scene and further enquiries into the incident remain ongoing."
