Detectives are hunting a man they want to trace as part of an investigation into an attack.
Today Merseyside Police released an image of the person at the centre of the manhunt, Samuel Smith.
The 31-year-old from Southport 's whereabouts are unknown.

Police say he failed to answer bail in relation to an assault probe.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "Please share and help us find Southport man Samuel Smith, who officers would like to speak to after he failed to answer bail in relation to an assault last December."
Police describe him as 5ft 8in tall, of proportionate build, with brown hair, a beard, and blue eyes.
