A man has been rushed to hospital after being assaulted in Aberdeen tonight.
Cops raced to Gardner Drive in Kincorth just before 6pm to reports of an assault.
One man has been rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment following the incident.
The extent of his injuries are not yet known.
Residents in the area reported seeing a large police presence as the Scottish Ambulance Service were also in attendance.
Enquiries into the incident are currently ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to a report that a man had been assaulted in the Gardner Drive area of Aberdeen around 5.55pm on Monday, 29 March.
"The man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing."
