Manhunt launched after thieves swipe £8k motorbike sparking police probe

A manhunt has been launched after thieves swiped a motorbike worth £8,000 sparking a police probe.

The incident took place on Saturday night when intruders raided a business premises in Loanhead.

They broke into the property at Pentland Industrial Estate before stealing the vehicle at around 8.15pm.

Police in Midlothian are now desperately appealing for information.

The bike is described as a white Husqvarna TE300 with registration N23 LMC.

Detective Constable Marion Anderson, of Dalkeith CID, said: “I would appeal to anyone who has any information surrounding this incident to come forward and speak to Police.

“If you were in the area at the time or noticed anyone acting suspiciously, please come forward.

“Anyone who has potential dashcam or CCTV footage of the area is asked to get in contact with officers."
