Manhunt launched after flasher performed 'indecent act on himself' in Glasgow park

Police have launched a hunt for a man who performed a solo sex act in broad daylight in a public park in Glasgow.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after the indecent incident in Queens Park on Saturday, January 23.

Officers from Police Scotland were alerted after two women spotted the man exposing himself and carrying out the act at around 2pm.

A full search of the area was carried out but they did not find the culprit.

Cops said the man was of Asian appearance, aged between 25-35, wearing a turquoise coloured top with blue jeans and a black coat.

He had a goatee beard and wore an earring in his right ear.

Detective Inspector Craig McPhail said: “This is a busy park and the woman who reported seeing this man was distressed by this incident.

"She was approached by another woman who also seen him but she had left the park before police arrival and I would ask her to contact us.

“We are carrying out extensive enquiries to trace this man as soon as possible.”
