Manhunt launched after BMW torched outside Scots home

A manhunt is underway after a BMW was deliberately torched outside a property in Alexandria.

The shocking incident took place in the Kirstie Place area of the town at around 11pm on Thursday February 4.

A grey BMW 4 series was was set alight outside a property.

Cops are now appealing for information regarding the "wilful fire raising."

In particular they are looking to speak to three men seen in a vehicle at the time.

One of the men is described as about 6ft with short, blond curly hair and was sporting a North Face jacket and jeans.

The second was described as a hoody-wearing man dressed in dark clothes, with a third man also seen.

Detective Sergeant Bruce Fyfe said: “These three men were seen in a vehicle at the time of the incident and I am asking anyone who may have seen anything or know who they are to get in touch.

“In addition, anyone with private CCTV or who was driving in the area around the time of the incident and may have dash-cam footage that would help with our investigation is asked to call us.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3383 of Thursday, 4 February, or to make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
