Manhunt for young thugs linked to savage attack outside Leeds McDonald's

Police have released images of a group of young men and boys who could be linked to a vicious attack that left a man with serious facial injuries in Leeds.

A 20-year-old man was punched and kicked in the face as he lay on the ground during a violent attack outside McDonald's in Albion Street on December 2, shortly before 3am.

The victim was left with a broken cheekbone and a split tongue and needed extensive medical treatment.

West Yorkshire Police have now released two images of the suspects wanted in connection to the attack and anyone who recognises the men is asked to contact the force quoting crime reference 13210621770.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Detectives investigating an attack in Leeds city centre that left a man with serious facial injuries have released CCTV images of two suspects.

"The victim, a 20-year-old man, suffered a broken cheekbone and split tongue when he was punched and then kicked in the face while on the ground during the incident outside McDonald’s, in Albion Street, shortly before 3am on December 2.

"Anyone who recognises either man or who has any information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact DC 959 Worsnop at Leeds District CID via 101 quoting crime reference 13210621770 or online.

"Information can be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
