A suspected knifeman is on the run after reports of a man carrying a machete in west London.
Police conducted a desperate search speaking to witnesses of the alleged attack who was reported to be carrying a machete in Porchester Road, Bayswater at 1.30pm on Sunday, but could not find the suspect.
There were no injuries reported.
A Met spokeswoman said: “Police were called about 13:30hrs on Saturday, 19 August in Porchester Road, W2.
“Officers attended and spoke to a number of witnesses. No injuries were reported to police.
“A full area such was conducted but no suspect was found.
“Enquiries ongoing.”
