Manhunt for party attacker after two injured in flat rammy

Two men ended up in hospital after a rammy at a party.

The drama unfolded at a flat in Kenley Road, in the Ferry Village area of Renfrew at 8pm yesterday and a 23 and 27-year-old were injured.

Police are hunting the suspect who fled the scene shortly afterwards and have appealed to the public for information.

He is described as black, around 5ft 11ins in height, skinny with short black hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing a white Nike top with a red tick and black jeans.

The younger of the two victims remains in hospital today with the other released after treatment.

Detective Sergeant Jason Buxton from Paisley CID said: "Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding this incident are ongoing.

“Officers are following a positive live of investigation and I would like to provide reassurance that there is no ongoing threat to the wider public.

“We are keen to talk to anyone who may have been in the Ferry Village area around the time of this incident who might have seen the man described or who may have dashcam footage of the area.”
