Manhunt for fugitive Kenneth Yorke who could be in the Durham area

Detectives hunting a fugitive say he could be in County Durham

Lancashire Constabulary has appealed for help to find Kenneth Yorke, who has breached the terms of his prison licence.

The 28-year-old, from Bishop Auckland, was sentenced in November 2018 at Durham Crown Court to 21 months in prison for burglary, and six months for handling stolen goods.

And police in the North West now want to track him down as he has breached the terms of his prison licence.

It is thought Yorke could either be in the Lancaster, Morecambe or Durham areas.

He is described as white, around 6ft 2ins tall, with short black hair and scars on his neck, head and hands.

Sgt Adie Knowles, of Lancaster Police, said: “Yorke has breached the terms of his release licence and we are asking anybody who sees him, or who has information about where he may be, to get in touch straight away.”

Anybody with any  information is asked to get in touch with Lancashire Police by calling 01524-596573 or by emailing 6966@lancashire.pnn.police.uk
