
A man fell unconscious after being put in a headlock and choked during a fight on the London Underground.
The victim, in his 50s, was walking towards escalators at Bank station when a suspect went past him and began swearing.
British Transport Police said “a verbal disagreement” erupted and turned physical.
The attacker placed the man into a headlock at the bottom of the escalators around 3.10pm on Monday, June 30.
He lost consciousness before the suspect fled the scene and boarded a Central line train.
Detectives released CCTV stills of a male seen entering the Square Mile station in a yellow T-shirt and shorts.

A force spokesman said: “Officers believe the man in the image may have information that could help their enquiries.”
Anyone who recognises him or witnessed the incident should text officers on 61016, quoting reference 391 of 30 June.
