Manhunt continues after woman 'pulled to ground' in attempted sex attack near Jobcentre

Detectives are still appealing for information after a woman was "pulled to the ground" during an attempted sexual assault near a Jobcentre.

A major manhunt was launched after the terrifying incident, which took place in the Hartcliffe area at around 3.30am on Sunday, March 10.

 Avon and Somerset Constabulary said a woman in her 20s was dragged to the ground by a man near to the junction of Hareclive Road and Whitchurch Road. 

The attacker ran off towards Church Road along the path which leads towards Jobcentre Plus after the victim screamed.

A spokesperson for the force  said: "Anyone with information which could help our investigation is asked to call 101 and provide the call handler with the reference 5219051824.

"You can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100 per cent anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their Anonymous Online Form.

"No personal details are taken, information cannot be traced or recorded and you will not go to court or have to speak to police when contacting Crimestoppers."
