
Police are hunting two burglars who have absconded from HMP Hollesley Bay in Suffolk.
James Dooley, 23, and Andrew Cash, 32, were reported missing to Suffolk Police in the early hours of this morning.
Cash was serving a six-and-a-half-year sentence for burglary offences. Dooley was sentenced to six years and three months for burglary offences and intent to pervert the course of justice.

Police described Dooley as white, 6ft 1in tall with brown hair. Cash fit the same description with a “medium build”, the force said.
Dooley has links to the Wood Green area of north London, the Waltham Cross area of Hertfordshire and the Slough area of Berkshire.
Cash has links to the areas of Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds and Southampton.

Police asked that anyone who believes they have seen Cash or Dooley, or has any information regarding their whereabouts, contact the South Response Investigation Team, quoting 37/10872/26 for the former and 37/10874/26 for the latter.
HMP Hollesley Bay, also known as Hollesley Bay Colony, is a Category D men’s prison – an open prison for men who are coming to the end of their sentence or have been assessed as posing minimal risk to the public.
With a capacity of 485 prisoners, offenders spend most of their day away from their accommodation, studying or working.
