This is Us star Mandy Moore has revealed details of her wedding to musician Taylor Goldsmith – and from ceremony to wedding dress, it's clear she decided to do things her own way.
Rather than a traditional white dress, Moore instead picked a ruffled blush pink gown by Rodarte – a bespoke design made especially for her. The floor-length dress was made from the brand's trademark tulle fabric and also featured a beautiful floral applique. Though the images Moore shared were all in black and white, leaked images online showed the dress was pink.
Moore showed off the gown on Instagram, where she met Goldsmith in July of 2015. Goldsmith, lead singer of rock band Dawes, proposed two years later.
The wedding had a laidback, boho vibe, according to reports. Just fifty guests were invited to the ceremony at LA's Fig House venue, including Moore's This is Us co-stars Milo Ventimiglia and Chrissy Metz and her ex Wilmer Valderrama.
There was no formal wedding breakfast, with the couple instead providing meat, chicken, vegetarian, raw food, flat bread, cheese and charcuterie 'food stations'. Rugs on the floor and 'beautiful floral arrangements' surrounded the altar.
Goldsmith also shared some beautiful footage from inside the wedding – including a video of him, filmed by best friend Adam Nee, playing guitar just five minutes before the ceremony.
Blush pink is making waves this festive wedding season, with Moore far from its only proponent. Zara heiress Marta Ortega also released pictures of her wedding to modelling agent Carlos Toretta, walking down the aisle in a pale pink Valentino gown.
