Mandy Moore has weighed in on the “upsetting” mom group drama with Ashley Tisdale.
Last year, Tisdale published a viral essay where she opened up about her former celebrity mom group, whom she called “toxic.”
Tisdale had previously spoken about being in a mom group with other stars, including Moore, Hilary Duff, and Meghan Trainor. She did not confirm who was in the mom group.
Speaking to Andy Cohen on SiriusXM on Monday (18 May), Moore was quizzed on her reaction to the essay.
“It just cuts to the core,” said Moore. “The most important thing in my life is being a kind person and like that legacy of kindness, and anyone even insinuating that that might not be the case... is very upsetting.”
The Independent has reached out to Tisdale’s representatives for comment.
