Fate can really be cruel and even this will be an understatement after what happened with Mandira Bedi and her two kids on Wednesday morning. Later, we saw heartbreaking pictures of Mandira breaking down and Ronit Roy consoling her.
In a chat with ETimes last evening, Ronit said that he had no words to explain what he felt at Raj's sudden demise and is still going through sorrow. However, he revealed something that we feel we must bring to you.
Raj had called Ronit around mid-May. Incidentally, both Ronit and Raj were in Goa at the same time. It seems that Raj had started shooting for his web series, which had been assigned to him by a leading streaming platform. Ronit said, "He told me that he wanted me to play a very important role in the series and he would need me for a brief period though in the first part. Maybe he had a plan of inducting me in the second part largely."
Then? "Then, Raj also told me that he wanted me to play the mastermind in the show whose face is unmasked at the end of the first part."
Did Ronit shoot for it? "No, my shoot did not materialise. The makers, I think, were going back and forth on the modalities with Raj. And those days, we were also hit by the Tauktae cyclone toh woh reh gaya (it couldn't happen)," Ronit explained.
Reportedly, Raj's web show is a thriller titled 'Akkad Bakkad'.
