The past week has been a bit of a treat for Mancunians who are used to grey skies and pouring rain every day. As we move into spring the weather has gotten milder with plenty of sun to warm up the region, making it hotter than some popular abroad holiday destinations.
And the weather in Manchester is only going to get better as we kick off the weekend with plenty of sun dominating the sky throughout today (March 25). Clear skies throughout the whole day mean that temperatures will stay consistently warm well until the evening with very little wind to disturb it.
The morning will start off strong with temperatures reaching 10C at 8am which will rapidly increase as we enter the afternoon, rising by average of 2C every hour. By 12pm, temperatures will reach close to their peak at 17C before peaking at 18C by 2pm which won't begin to cool down until well until the evening at 17C.

"Early patchy fog will quickly clear to leave a dry morning with sunny spells," the Met Office says. "Some cloud will build for the afternoon, with perhaps the odd light shower over hills in the afternoon. With only light winds it will feel warm. Maximum temperature 18 °C."
The rest of the weekend will also see similar high temperatures and clear skies. On Saturday you can expect to see plenty of people enjoying a pint at the many beer gardens scattered around Manchester as the sun comes out in full force with temperatures peaking at 18C by 2pm which won't begin to cool down until the early evening at 5pm.
The Met Office added: "Any patchy fog will readily clear on Saturday morning leaving a fine and dry day with largely sunny skies and only small amounts of cloud. Feeling warm once again. Maximum temperature 18 °C."
While Sunday won't be as warm or have as much clear sky as today and Saturday, it will still be relatively warm with sunny intervals and temperatures peaking at 15C. "Another fine, dry day on Sunday with sunny spells," The Met Office says.
