Manchester weather: Make the most of the sunshine today as rain and even thunder are on the way

Sun worshippers are advised to make the most of the warm weather today as rain and even thunder is on the way.

Forecasters at the Met Office have said today will be a sunny and dry day, turning a little hazy in the afternoon.

It will not be as warm as yesterday, but temperatures will still reach highs of 19C to 20C.

The sunny spells will continue into the evening, but overnight it will turn cloudy with frost forming on grassy patches possible.

Temperatures will dip to around 4C.

Tomorrow morning will be fine and dry, but in the afternoon it is expected to cloud over and there could be some showery outbreaks of rain.

It is going to feel much cooler, with temperatures reaching highs of around 15C.
