Manchester weather: Get your shades on, it's going to be a sunny Easter weekend - and hotter than Majorca

Greater Manchester is set for blue skies and sun this Easter weekend - and it could be hotter than Majorca.

Things should be dry and bright across the region with temperatures rising towards the end of the week.

Temperatures could hit 19C by Good Friday - and 20C by Satruday.

Majorca is set for highs of just 14C.

A Met Office spokesman said: "It will stay dry towards Easter weekend, with increasing amounts of sunshine.

"By Friday it will become much warmer, with very warm conditions possible in the west."
