Manchester weather forecast as UK temperatures set to hit 32C

Finally - it's going to get very hot in Greater Manchester this weekend.

A heatwave is set to sweep across most parts of the country from tomorrow (Friday), with forecasters predicting that temperatures will hit a high of 32C in some parts of the UK.

Although it won't be quite that warm in our region, there's some sunny, hot weather on the way and there shouldn't be a raindrop in sight.

The weather will start to warm up from this afternoon.

From around 2pm, temperatures of around 24C are forecast for the region.

The clouds will disappear by late afternoon and Met Office forecasters predict it will be a sunny evening.

Overnight, it will be warm with lows of around 16C.

Friday is set to be a glorious day across Greater Manchester, with wall-to-wall sunshine forecast all-day and temperatures reaching highs of 25C in the afternoon.

It will be a similar picture across the region on Saturday and Sunday, with temperatures of up to 26C forecast.

Into next week, as lockdown restrictions are eased, the warm weather is set to stay.

Sunny weather is forecaster for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Temperatures will hit around 24C during the afternoons.

The hot weather is then expected to subside into the end of next week.
