Man United XI vs Wolves: Jones starts - Confirmed lineup, team news, injury latest for Premier League today

Harry Maguire misses Manchester United’s clash with Wolves tonight after picking up an injury.

Eric Bailly is also unavailable after being forced off in the win over Burnley - meaning Phil Jones steps in.

Victor Lindelof is not in contention to feature for the first time since he came off in the 1-0 win at Norwich on December 11 with breathing difficulties. Lindelof has since tested positive for Covid and has had to isolate, so also missed games against Newcastle and Burnley.

Bruno Fernandes does not return to the starting line-up.

The Portuguese midfielder was ruled out of the win over Burnley through suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card of the campaign but is available again for United’s first game of 2022 - and is on the bench.

Marcus Rashford does not return to the side, with Edinson Cavani or Cristiano Ronaldo leading the line again after they both impressed in the Burnley game.

Nemanja Matic is in the team alongside Scott McTominay in midfield.

Man United XI: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Jones, Shaw; McTominay, Matic; Greenwood, Sancho; Cavani, Ronaldo.

Subs: Henderson, Telles, Fernandes, Dalot, Fred, Lingard, Van de Beek, Rashford, Elanga.
