Manchester United XI vs Chelsea: Starting lineup and team news - Cavani out; Bruno, James, Greenwood start

Edinson Cavani misses out as Manchester United face Chelsea in this afternoon’s huge Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge.

United breezed into the last-16 of the Europa League on Thursday night, with a goalless home draw against Real Sociedad sealing a 4-0 aggregate victory.

Solskjaer named a surprisingly strong starting XI with Bruno Fernandes as captain, but the Portuguese star was taken off at half-time for a rest along with Fred and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw certainly start either side of Victor Lindeof and Harry Maguire in defence, with Fred and Scott McTominay - the latter back from injury - sitting in midfield.

Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, Dan James and Mason Greenwood all start in attack with Anthony Martial flattering to deceive of late and Cavani still out injured.
