Paul Pogba could start for the first time in three months when Manchester United face Arsenal on New Year’s Day.
The France international missed Saturday’s win at Burnley as a precaution after making his comeback from ankle and foot injuries over Christmas.
But he is expected to make the trip to the Emirates and start his first game since United played Arsenal on September 30.
Remarkably it would only be his sixth Premier League start of the season.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be without Scott McTominay, with the midfielder set to be out until later in January with knee ligament damage.

Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka should come back in after being rested in the 2-0 win against Burnley.
Solskjaer insists he is looking ahead to a new year and new decade with optimism after seeing his side find some consistency in recent weeks.
"2020 sounds quite good for me," said the United manager who famously wore the No.20 in his playing days. "I'm going to make 2020 a good year for myself. I think we're on the right track.
"We are in a transition period, we've seen other clubs do it and come out strong after a couple of years and we will consign this decade definitely. That's just in the nature of this club."
He added: "We're improving. I think we can see more and more of what we want to be and our identity and what we're good at.
"We're making games suit our style more and more. We've played the same way for a little while and we're getting use to each other.

"We're quite a bit away still from where we want to be, but I think we're the youngest team this week as well in the Premier League, average.
"We were last week only 23 years of age from the starting 10 outfield players.
"We'll have ups and downs but less and less of the downs hopefully."
