Manchester United winger Daniel James names the two highlights of his career

Daniel James has named his debut strikes for Manchester United and Wales as the two highlights of his playing career so far.

The 21-year-old has hit the ground running at Old Trafford following his summer arrival from Swansea and has established himself as a key member within the first-team squad already.

Many supporters were unaware of James' talents when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer agreed to sign him in the summer, however the Welsh winger made an immediate impact by netting a goal against Chelsea on his debut.

Spectacular strikes against both Crystal Palace and Southampton have followed for James in the subsequent matches but neither matched the feeling of pride which went with his goal on the opening day of the season.

James admits the goal in front of the Stretford End was one of the best moments of his career, along with his winner for Wales on his first full international start.

"Scoring against Slovakia really. I think that tops it," James told FAWTV when quizzed on his career highlight.

"Obviously that, and joint with it is signing for United and scoring my first goal on my debut.

"I think them two are up there with the top."
