Manchester United winger Daniel James compared to Kylian Mbappe by rival manager

Manchester United winger Daniel James has been compared to Kylian Mbappe by Hungary manager Marco Rossi.

The 22-year-old forward will be looking to emulate the World Cup winner on Tuesday night as Wales face Hungary in their huge Euro 2020 qualification fixture.

Victory for Wales will secure automatic qualification to next summer's European Championships, while Hungary could book their place with a win of their own.

Ryan Giggs' side are in fine form heading into the crucial match with the recent performances of James playing a huge part in their unbeaten run.

As well as impressive international performances this season, James has also established himself as a key first-team figure at club level, and Rossi believes the United summer signing could prove the difference at the Cardiff City Stadium.

"James is a player that is playing with a motor bicycle because he is really fast," Rossi told reporters.

"I have never seen someone in the last period as fast as him, maybe Mbappe. He's unbelievable."

"If we leave him [James] space to run he could be dangerous.

"This could be the key, but we work a lot on the defensive line and will try to give confidence to our players."
