Manchester United star Daniel James has announced on social media that his partner is pregnant with their first child.
The 23-year-old Wales international and his partner Ria Hughes have been together for a number of years, with the fitness instructor regularly cheering James on at Old Trafford.
James, who signed for United in the summer of 2019, has faced a battle for regular first-team action this season with fierce competition for a starting berth.
However, off the field things could not be going better and the couple are set to welcome a new family member later this year.
Posting on Instagram, he said: "BABY JAMES... Just what me and Ria wished for. Our little one due September."
The video showed the pair discovering the gender of their baby-to-be, with blue confetti representing the birth of a boy.
Plenty of his United teammates congratulated him in the comments, including Mason Greenwood, Scott McTominay, Brandon Williams and club captain Harry Maguire.
They were joined by former United man Angel Gomes, Liverpool pair Neco Williams and Harry Wilson, as well as former striker Odion Ighalo.
James will now be looking to cap off what is set to be a huge year with Europa League glory, with United facing Villarreal later this month.
Victory in Gdansk would represent James' first trophy with United and would hand him another story to tell his future son later down the line.
