Manchester United want Jude Bellingham, not Jadon Sancho and more transfer rumours

Manchester United want to sign Jude Bellingham this summer, not Jadon Sancho, according to BILD.

Reports in Germany suggest that despite United's known interest in Borrusia Dortmund's Erling Haaland and Sancho, officials at Old Trafford are actually plotting to sign Bellingham at the end of the season, in what could be a sensational move.

“At United at the moment, there is nothing at all on the Sancho interest; on the contrary, a move is not likely. The reason? Jude Bellingham," Christian Falk told BILD. "Dortmund themselves have the replacement for Sancho and would therefore sell Sancho.

"The English are now simply focussing on Bellingham instead.”

Bellingham sealed a move to Dortmund from Birmingham for a fee in the region of £20m, and since then the 17-year-old has shown maturity beyond his years with his performances on the pitch, particularly catching the eye in the Champions League.

With Edinson Cavani looking likely to extend his stay at Old Trafford for another season, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have funds to strengthen different areas and it's believed the Norwegian could bolster in defensive midfield, where Bellingham plays.

Now, addressing a rumour that refuses to go away, Spanish outlet AS claim Real Madrid are still interested in signing Paul Pogba from United this summer, with Los Blancos long-term admirers of the World Cup winner.

However, Madrid's financial problems could scupper the deal, although Pogba is soon to enter the final year of his contract.
