Manchester United vs Watford prediction and odds: Back Reds to grab crucial three points at Old Trafford

Check out our 11/10 Manchester United vs Watford prediction below

Manchester United's fixture list is about to get a good deal tougher and that makes it critical that they take maximum points from the visit of Watford.

United square up with Man City, Spurs and Liverpool in their next three games in a period that will go a long way to determining whether they can secure that all important fourth spot in the Premier League.

Ralf Rangnick's side were pretty dreadful in Madrid on Wednesday night but they will be buoyed by that crucial late Anthony Elanga equaliser and the Reds really do owe Watford one given the pasting they took at Vicarage Road in November - Ole Gunnar Solksjaer's last game in charge.

United are red-hot 33/100 favourites with Grosvenor Sport to inflict revenge on the hornets, while Roy Hodgson's side are 8/1 to grab a much needed three points as they scramble for Premier League survival.

United's league form is decent, for all the chat about performance levels and inconsistency. They have only lost one (Wolves at home) of the 14 Premier League matches they have contested since their humiliating defeat in the reverse fixture, and they have won four of their last six.

It's at Old Trafford, particularly, where the Reds have failed to reach the levels many expect, so much so that they have failed to win almost half (6 of 13) of the league games they have played at home, but they ground out wins over West Ham and Brighton recently and they really should have too much for a Watford side that ship goals for fun.

The Hornets are on a disastrous run that has seen them lose ten of their last 13 Premier League fixtures, a sequence of results that has seen them plummet into the depths of the division.

They couldn't back up last weekend's surprise win at Aston Villa against Crystal Palace in midweek, conceding four goals to a Crystal Palace side that had scored just once on their last three games.

Hodgson is as experienced as they come but he'll do well to keep the Hornets up this term, especially as sides around them like Newcastle and Burnley have found form.

Manchester United vs Watford prediction

It's a dangerous statement with United this term but they really should have too much for Watford, especially now that they are beginning to find their feet from an attacking perspective.

Watford don't score too often on their travels so there is a good chance United can get this done with the minimum of fuss and that leads us nicely to a 'United to win to nil' wager which is an 11/10 chance with Grosvenor Sport.

Recommended bet: Manchester United to win to nil - 11/10
