Manchester United vs PSG team news: Eric Bailly starts in defence

Eric Bailly will start in the centre of Manchester United's defence for the Champions League visit of Paris Saint-Germain.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has preferred Bailly over Phil Jones, who played the entirety of United's 3-0 win at Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday.

United otherwise line up largely as expected, with Marcus Rashford and Victor Lindelof returning to the side after sitting out of the win at Craven Cottage.

Solskjaer makes five changes in total, with Ashley Young and Jesse Lingard also back in the starting line-up.

Without Edinson Cavani or Neymar to call upon, PSG head coach Thomas Tuchel selects Kylian Mbappé to lead the visiting attack.

Mbappé will be supported by former United winger Angel di Maria as well as Julian Draxler and veteran Dani Alves.

As expected, Marco Verratti has recovered from injury in time to partner Marquinhos in the centre of midfield.

Line-ups

Manchester United:De Gea; Young, Lindelof, Bailly, Shaw; Pogba, Matic, Herrera; Lingard, Rashford, Martial.

Substitutes: Romero, Jones, Dalot, Fred, Mata, Sanchez, Lukaku.

Paris Saint-Germain: Buffon; Kehrer, Silva, Kimpembe, Bernat; Marquinhos, Verratti; Alves, Draxler, Di Maria; Mbappé.
