Manchester United vs PSG: Liverpool's Sadio Mane appears to mock rivals' Champions League defeat

Liverpool’s Sadio Mane appeared to poke fun at Manchester United‘s loss at home to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer suffered his first defeat in charge as interim boss at Old Trafford, with PSG claiming a 2-0 first leg lead thanks to Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappe.

The Senegalese appeared to see the funny side of the Reds’ rivals suffering defeat, with the teams meeting next weekend in the Premier League.

Mane took to Instagram whilst watching the game, filming the contest at 0-2 and adding the caption, “hummm.”

A minute later, Mane added a picture of himself and Adam Lallana from a training session laughing, with a crying laughter emoji added for effect.

The Reds are on an off-week following their 3-0 victory over Bournemouth, though Manchester City are top of the league on goal difference having played a game more.

Having already been eliminated from the FA Cup after defeat in the third round to Wolves, Jurgen Klopp’s side next face Bayern Munich midweek in the first leg of their last 16 tie.

Klopp’s side will host the game at Anfield after finishing runners-up to PSG in the group stage, with Virgil van Dijk suspended.

Dejan Lovren is struggling with an injury, leaving the Reds with a headache as to how they line up at the back.
