Manchester United vs Leicester City result predicted by supercomputer

Manchester United are hoping to get back to winning ways this weekend when they face Leicester City at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils opened the new Premier League campaign by beating Chelsea 4-0 at home before drawing 1-1 on the road at Wolves.

Crystal Palace then defeated United 2-1 in Manchester, before Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men could only pick up a point against Southampton.

Week five of the Premier League season has now been predicted by a supercomputer from BT Sport's The Script and it's not great news for Solskjaer's side.

In a new experiment for the 2019/20 season, some of the world's leading data analysts have used 'machine learning' artificial intelligence to predict the exact outcome of all the top-flight matches. BT asked data experts from the Google Cloud, Opta and Squawka to use the 'cutting edge' technology.

Leicester are next up for United, with the Foxes currently unbeaten after two wins and two draws to start the season.

Brendan Rodgers' team are expected to remain unbeaten after this weekend but the supercomputer is backing United to share a 2-2 draw.

Here is the rest of week five predicted by the supercomputer:

Aston Villa 1 West Ham 2

Watford 2 Arsenal 0

Liverpool 3 Newcastle 0

Sheffield United 4 Southampton 1

Wolves 0 Chelsea 0

Manchester United 2 Leicester City 2

Norwich City 2 Man City 2

Tottenham 2 Crystal Palace 0

Brighton 0 Burnley 0

Bournemouth 0 Everton 0
