Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s appointment as the permanent manager has been unexpectedly met with turmoil after his interim stint went so well. Hope is not lost for United. If they can rebound with a win and revitalize their top four hopes, all will be forgiven heading into next season.
Chelsea has been in decent form, and that’s been good enough to overtake a struggling Arsenal for fourth. They’ve advanced to the semifinals of the Europa League and will be doing everything they can to make sure they don’t have to return to that competition next season.
