Manchester United vs Chelsea fixture given new date as full run-in schedule confirmed

Manchester United will play Chelsea at Old Trafford over two weeks earlier than originally scheduled following the Blues' progress to the FA Cup Final.

The Premier League fixture was set to be played on Sunday, May 15 as their penultimate game of the league campaign, but will now face them on Thursday, April 28. The match will kick-off at 7.45pm, and be broadcast on Sky Sports.

The schedule change means United now play three games before the end of April. Ralf Rangnick will take his squad on Liverpool on Tuesday before a trip to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal on Saturday, with the visit of Chelsea five days later.

The visit of Brentford comes four days after that on Monday, May 2. United will see out the season first at Brighton on May 7 and then 15 days later at Crystal Palace on May 22.

Every game has been selected for TV broadcast, either on Sky Sports or BT Sport, apart from the final day picks. Those selections will be made closer to the date.
