Manchester United Under-21s moved to within a point of the Premier League title with a 4-0 victory over Manchester City at Old Trafford, though the victory was marred by a minor skirmish between rival fans during the second half.
Adnan Januzaj created James Wilson’s opener after five minutes and scored himself after the break before limping off towards the end and is an injury concern for Sunday’s visit of Arsène Wenger’s Arsenal.
However, a few United fans managed to break into the segregated part of the stadium where their opposite number among the 16,708 crowd had been placed.
